THE ARTIST’S GUIDELINES

 

SPECIAL NOTE: WE ARE currently NO LONGER ACCEPTING ANY NEW APPLICANTS. THE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT DURING THE PROCESS OF RELOCATING WE WERE BURGLARIZED AND LOST MOST OF OUR SUPPLIES. THANKFULLY, I TOOK GREAT CARE TO KEEP THE CANVAS PIECES WITH ME BUT ALL OF OUR SUPPLIES WERE LOST. WE WILL BEGIN TAKING NAMES FOR THE CANVAS MAILING LIST AGAIN, AS SOON AS WE RECOVER FINANCIALLY FROM THIS LOSS.

 

     After reading the Artist’s Guidelines and Canvas Art Agreement, if you would like to contribute to the canvas art, please send us your contact info (with your complete shipping address) and the amount of canvases you will need to:

     Once we receive your request, you will be notified within 7 days that you have been added to the canvas mailing list. If you do not receive this confirmation within the 7 days, please attempt to contact us again via one of our message boards (please be sure to put “private” in the subject header so that your message will be kept private) at:

to be sure we received your request.

     Please keep in mind that that this is an ongoing project and the only current   deadline is six months from the day you receive your canvas. We do our best to get the canvases out as soon as possible but  we do have over 1,500 people on the canvas mailing list so it may take up to two months to receive your canvas unless you tell us that you have some sort of time constraint. We make artists that have time constraints such as groups participating in school clubs, and classes, a priority. All others requests will be addressed on a first come first serve basis. For this reason, we ask that if you do have a time constraint, please let us know.

     Once you have received confirmation from us that you have been put on the canvas mailing list, you will receive a printable copy of the Canvas Art Agreement via your email at this time. This documentation must be filled out and returned with canvas art. Please let us know if you do not have a way to print this documentation so that we can make a note to send you the documentation through the mail.

 

*SPECIAL NOTE: Due to financial concerns, in order to keep the project going, we will begin to charge $5.00 per person  and $10.00 per group (more than one person) to cover shipping to the artists and supplies. If you are one of the first #2000 this charge does not apply. This project IS NOT for profit but we need to be able to cover the cost of supplies and shipping the canvas to the artists at this point and this seemed to be the fairest way.
